The Veterinary Hospital Group provides high quality care for all your pets' healthcare needs but we also pride ourselves in looking after your needs too. Our vets, nurses and receptionists care for your pets as one of the family. Our Veterinary Hospital and Veterinary Centres around Plymouth provide a convenient and personal service, and the Veterinary Hospital at Estover is open 24 hours every day of the year. Emergencies are catered for day and night, with a resident vet and nurse always on the premises overnight. Vets and nurses at the hospital treat routine cases as well as emergencies.

We are happy to see all species of pet animals including the more exotic species and have vets with a keen special interest in rabbits, reptile and avian medicine and surgery. Click here for more information about the services we provide for our exotic patients.

At our hospital a dedicated ward nurse attends patients in our warm, air-conditioned hospital ward through the day and night. We have a well equipped operating theatre, dental suite and diagnostic lab, plus digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy and ECG facilities and we also offer acupuncture at our Lipson Road branch. At our other centres around Plymouth we provide a day time service (Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings at Plympton and Plymstock) with an appointments system for consultations and routine operations. Home visits can also be arranged.

We have a structured preventative health care programme for all ages of pet, including vaccination, worm and flea control, dental care and nutrition. Our veterinary nurses provide health advisory clinics and consultations. Membership of our Healthy Pets Club offers many benefits, including discounts, free nursing services and payments for membership by direct debit.
