Katie Lenton
Katie was born and grew up in Sheffield, until she went to Bristol University for her veterinary training. She graduated in 2001 and, after a brief spell working for DEFRA on the Foot and Mouth crisis, joined a mixed practice in Cornwall. Here she stayed for 3 years until she decided to focus on companion animals and joined The Veterinary Hospital Group in 2004.
Since joining the practice, Katie has developed her interest in small animal surgery, gaining a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. She currently deals with our more complicated surgical procedures.
When she is not working, Katie enjoys the beautiful scenery that Devon has to offer and spends a lot of time walking her dog, riding her horse or mountain biking on the moors. She also enjoys water sports when the weather allows and is a keen wind surfer and surfer.
