Pets in the Park 2010

Pets in the Park, held by The Veterinary Hospital Group at Saltram House in Plympton on Saturday 17th July as part of Veterinary Nursing Week, was a huge success.

Its purpose, apart from to have fun, was to promote preventative healthcare of pets and the work of the veterinary nurse in practice.

Many people and their dogs attended and the dogs received free healthcare checks by the qualified nurses from the Veterinary Hospital, and free goodie bags.

Also in attendance were Canine Capers, a fly ball and agility group from South Brent, who put on fascinating demonstrations after which owners and their own dogs could have a go.
