Bart the cat

Bart survived severe head injuries following a hit-and-run traffic accident. The sixteen and a half year old Burmese/British Blue cat was found by a family member close to their Plympton home and rushed to The Veterinary Centre in Plympton.

Bart was transferred to The Veterinary Hospital in Estover for further analysis and surgery to repair the fractures. Despite being anaemic after the accident and despite his age he was able to return home after four days hospitalisation and nursing.
