Fizz the hamster

Fizz is now back to full health following two operations - including one to amputate his leg.

His first operation came about as a result of some thread that had become tightly wound around one of his front legs. A restricted blood supply led to gangrene.

Just over a year later the plucky hamster developed a lump, which turned out to be an impacted food pouch.
