Murphy the Cocker Spaniel
Murphy is a 14-year-old dog living with his owners in St Buedeaux. His clinical history reads like a medical novel, starting with dental work in 2001. In 2005 he was diagnosed with a form of aneamia in which the body's immune system destroys it's own red blood cells.
Since then Murphy has had additional treatment for tumours and thyroid problems, ear conditions and eye problems. He has had his anal glands and one of his eyes removed.
Murphy has taken it all in his stride and continues to do well since being diagnosed and treated for diabetes.
