Sebastian the Tortoise

A 40-year-old tortoise has been awarded the Braveheart award this month after having her foot bitten off. The unfortunate family found Sebastian upside down and minus a foot after an attack from an intruder, likely a fox.

She was given pain relief and antibiotics and had to have the end of her leg amputated under anaesthesia.

Thankfully Sebastian recovered fully and is currently doing well.
