I qualified form Glasgow Vet School in 1998 and have worked as a companion animal GP vet ever since. I originally joined Plymouth Veterinary Group in 2007 when I was part of the night team, then after working in Cornwall for a few years I returned to Plymouth Vet group in early 2025 to be the main vet at the Lipson branch.
I love being a GP vet, and have special interests in dentistry, chronic pain and complementary care, and have further training in acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Outside of work I love walking on the moors with my family and our crazy lurcher. We also have pet rats and a crested gecko in our household.I love to travel, and once my children are more self sufficient I plan on combining my love for animals and travel by volunteering on rabies vaccination programmes across the world.
