I joined the practice in 2019 as a student and qualified in 2020 as a FdsC Veterinary Nurse through Plymouth University. Since qualifying, my passion has led me back to the William Prance Road Hospital as an Emergency and Critical care nurse where our standard of care is outstanding and I really enjoy the out of hours work as you never know what is going to come through the door. I am very excited to be starting my Emergency and Critical care certificate.
Out of work I am a proper country bumpkin and fortunate to live in Cornwall! I have a soft spot for working breeds in the practice, my favourites being lurchers, spaniels and Labradors. My hobbies include horse riding, running, rugby and hanging out with my dogs. I do a lot of dog training with my own pack and find dog behaviour so interesting. I also own two horses Corky and Chance and if that's not enough animals I also have ferrets (Gillian, Brownie, Bandit and Cinnamon).
